ROYAL CANIN® Renal is a dry kibble diet tailored help support adult cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. ROYAL CANIN® Renal is specially formulated with a low phosphorus content and contains a moderate amount of high-quality proteins to help support kidney function. To support cases of reduced appetite or food aversion, ROYAL CANIN® Renal contains an adapted energy content. ROYAL CANIN® Renal is also available as wet food, with three different formulations: fish, beef and chicken. The variety in formulations and aroma profiles help to stimulate and support your cats varying appetite. ROYAL CANIN® RENAL dry is a complete dietetic feed for cats formulated to support renal function in the case of chronic renal insufficiency, through its restricted levels of phosphorus and high-quality proteins. RENAL dry is also formulated to reduce oxalate stone formation through its low level of calcium and Vitamin D, and its urine alkalising properties. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Initially feed RENAL dry for up to 6 months in cases of chronic renal insufficiency and reduction of oxalate stone formation.
Composition: Maize flour, rice, animal fats, wheat gluten*, maize, soya protein isolate*, vegetable fibres, maize gluten, minerals, hydrolysed animal proteins, chicory pulp, fish oil, soya oil, mono - and diglycerides of palmitic and stearic acids esterified with citric acid, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligosaccharides, marigold extract (source of lutein).
