Cystine is a natural substance that - when excessively present in your dog's urine - can lead to the formation of cystine stones in your dog's kidneys, bladder or urinary tract. Free radicals are unstable particles that can have a harmful effect on your dog's cells. Urinary U/C is a complete dietetic feed for dogs, formulated to reduce the formation of urate and cystine stones through its low level of protein and of purines, its high quality protein, its moderate level of sulphur amino acids and its urine alkalising properties.RECOMMENDATIONS:Feed Urinary U/C for up to 6 months to reduce the formation of urate stones, for up to 1 year to reduce the formation of cystine stones and for life in the case of irreversible disturbance of uric acid metabolism. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. The dog should be re-evaluated regularly by the veterinarian to assess the relevance of a lifelong recommendation. Water should be available at all times.

Composition: Rice, maize flour, wheat flour, animal fats, egg powder, wheat gluten*, maize gluten, minerals, vegetable fibres, fish oil, soya oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, borage oil, marigold extract (source of lutein).
