At our vet’s recommendation we tried this. She loves it! We cut back on her food per vet’s advice, added a few carrots as treats and she is dropping the weight. Coincidence or not, her skin is not as dry.

Just purchased our first ever Royal Canin product. We have a large mixed breed who needed to shed a few post-covid lbs. It was a big jump from our normal food to a $100+ bag of food. Samson seems to love the food and is not acting any different so big win. The packaging was really cool as it was vacuum sealed. However, after a single use the internal zip lock feature completely failed. One side of the zipper is now detached from the bag. I am very disappointed in this as now I will have to spend another $30+ to get a sealed container larger enough to hold the food. I am assuming since the sealing mechanism was provided it is important to the quality.

We just started buying this two months ago. Our vet said both dogs could drop a few lbs. They both still love it as much as the regular food and I think they have lost some weight.

So far this food has been a great choice for my hypothyroid dog! After years of struggling to get him to lose weight I finally got him to an ideal weight and this food seems to be maintaining it. He loves the taste as well!
