13 May 2024My dog was allergic to it
I was really excited to try a dog food made especially for my dogs breed. Unfortunately, he is allergic to this dog food. It is made with chicken by products which I would expect better ingredients in a high quality dog food. Not all chicken parts except chicken meat. Unfortunately, I would not get this dog food again. Maybe if they made a golden retriever food made with beef.

Senna loves it! She ate one bowl to try it however she has to finish her old food first before she can start on this awesome bag Golden Retriever food from Royal Canin.
Thank you Ripplestreet for letting our 13 year old Golden Retriever enjoying this food. She seems the like it better than her other food cause normal she won't finish her breakfast or dinner in one sitting. The Royal Canin was eaten in one sitting!

My Golden Retriever goes crazy for this dog food. She really seems to like the shape, which is larger than most other dog foods. I think she thinks it's a bowl full of treats. With her old dog food, sometimes she wouldn't eat all of her food, but with Royal Canin Golden Retriever Dog Food, she eats every bite and doesn't leave any behind. I would definitely buy this again!

Before I opened the box the dog seemed to know that the package was for her and the non Goldens were jealous that it wasn’t for them but I told them that I would try to find one for them. She eagerly eats the food and has plenty of energy and her coat has been looking great too! Would strongly recommend!

11 May 2024I have mixed feelings about this.
Well this food is fortified with vitamins that my little guy needs yet I was kinda disappointed with the ingredients. I don't like Duke to have anything that chicken by products and fat are the only meat source, corn gluten meal and wheat gluten don't sound very healthy either. I was always told that this brand of pet food was really good and I figured that, because of the price, it would have better ingredients. I gave Duke a bowl and he ate it down but he has just picked at it ever since and doesn't seem to interested.
