MIX WITH DRY FOOD: Works in conjunction with a variety of appetite-stimulating Royal Canin adult cat food varieties

Your vet recommended Royal Canin Renal Support T for a reason. This highly palatable wet cat food is specially formulated to care for the kidney health of adult cats under veterinary supervision. “T” stands for Tasty, and this formula can help stimulate your cat’s appetite. The thin slices in gravy soft cat food can be mixed with other Royal Canin Renal Support formulas, which have a variety of palatable aromas and dry or wet forms to help find the right combination to get your cat eating again. And the energy-dense diet provides nutritional support in smaller portions, since cats with reduced kidney function have decreased appetites. Plus, it contains a precise antioxidant complex, fatty acids from fish oil, low phosphorus, and targeted protein levels to help support kidney function.

Formula T is the BOMB for Sammie

Our 11 year old kitty, Sammie, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease. One year ago, her numbers were perfect. This year, not, so her vet prescribed a kidney diet. The practice sells Royal Canin and they selected the T formula. Sammie loves it. The dry food is also a hit. Her vet recommended supplementing her food with Purina Pro Plan Hydra Care that Sammie LOVES. I am hoping after reading all of these reviews that Sammie will live a long and good life with RC foods.

Nothing for cats allergic to chicken

There’s so many pets allergic to chicken, and my KD cat can’t get any KD food because they’re all made cheap and with chicken. Excellent for us.

Something changed

My cat has eaten this for over a year. I think the formula has changed as my cat is uninterested and it now gives her allergies causing her to itch around her mouth. I’ve reached out to royal canin 3 times to inquire and have been ignored each time which is pretty crummy customer service and seems as though they don’t care. Just trying to find out whether something changed so I can help my cat. But I’m going to switch to a different brand that will respond and is honest about their changes when they happen. Also, not sure if others have noticed… but the feeding guidelines differ on the can from online. The packaging and information needs works.

My picky cats LOVE it!

When my vet let me know we needed to get my almost 12-year old on a diet to protect his kidneys, she prescribed this. I am thrilled that my cat (and his brother) LOVE THIS. There is something magical in Royal Canin that cats love the taste. My cat has less teeth now, and this also gives him something not hard but still chewy, plus there's plenty of gravy.

STINKS!!

Our 16 yr old cat is in the beginning stages of renal failure, so our vet prescribed this along with the "F" dry cat food. We switched her from Purina Indoor and Fancy Feast. She finally eats the "F" flavor dry food, but she hardly eats the "T" tasty canned food. It actually smells like garbage! I don't understand how the vets who created this believe this food is tasty when it smells like something died. Cats go by smell, and my cat does not like the smell of this canned food. Please reconsider the formula, vets!

Success!

My 15 year old cat Fred was recently diagnosed with the beginning stages of kidney disease. He was very thin even though he ate a lot of food. I started him on this diet and within 6 weeks, he has put on weight and seems back to his old self. He is an extremely picky eater and he LOVES this (as does my other younger cat who does not have kidney problems and constantly tries to eat his brother's food!).

Bits and gravy

Our cat likes the bits and gravy. He prefers something he can chew and licks up the gravy first! We had tried a number of other cat foods, but he refused to eat most of them. When he had to go on a special diet, it was even more of a challenge! When we tried the Royal Canin he ate it all up! We also use the Renal Support D, Renal Support E, and all the Renal Support kibble. In fact we use the sample packs of the kibble for treats.

My Cat Loves It!

May 20 year old Tonkinese Cat has been on this food for the past 8-9 years and is still pretty healthy cat for her age. She loves the taste, her coat looks great and I feel this keeps her going.

My cat won’t eat anything else

Our Kiwi was diagnosed with mild kidney disease a few months ago. She was puking, very thin and not interested in food much. We tried another brand of prescription cat food and she hated it, wouldn’t eat it even mixed with her favorite wet food. It was suggested that we try Royal Canin Renal and OMG I’m so glad we did! She loves it!!! She has put on weight, has tons of energy and begs for us to feed her. Kiwi is once again a happy and pretty healthy kitty and this food has a lot to do with that. Thank you Royal Canin for getting our picky eater to love food again!!

Prescription diet food keeps our cat healthy.

My cat has been on this field for two years and his kidney/renal health is so much better. It’s nice to know that there’s actual real food out there that is healthy for animals and helps them stay healthy.
