You’ve tried everything to help with your cat's GI issues, whether those are vomiting, diarrhea, or lack of appetite. And while bland homemade diets are often used for digestive upsets, your cat could be missing some key nutrients to help them fully recover. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This palatable, digestible GI cat diet is formulated with lower calories* for healthy weight maintenance—especially in cats with a tendency to become overweight. Prebiotics help maintain the balance of good bacteria in the gut. A blend of dietary fibers supports healthy digestion for optimal stool quality. Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, from fish oil help nourish and soothe the GI tract. And the exclusive S/O Index supports urinary health by creating an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder. Ask your veterinarian about pairing with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie wet cat food and Gastrointestinal cat treats as a complement to your cat’s diet.

Havana Brown

It works!

Our Havana rescue came to us with what we thought was just an aggressive parasite...which we dealt with immediately. 5 mo in his stools remained extremely smelly, very very soft (no formed logs), dog size bowel movements or straight up diarrhea. After testing we discovered an intestinal infection. He is now on antibiotics AND the wet and dry Gastro Moderate food (he's also a bit chunky). Vet also suggested pre/pro biotic paste. 5 days in...success! His stools are becoming fully formed. Still a bit smelly but not room-clearing. We are seeing light at the end of the tunnel! Added bonus...his coat has become super shiny! We don't see taking him off this food. We're relieved and happy...and more importantly, he is happy and healthy.

Food works, but goes bad

This food works great for my kitty’s tummy issues and we’ve been using it since 2020. Howdy, it seems something changed this year because the food is going bad before we can finish the bag. This is causing considerable issues because she’s getting sick and I’m throwing half the bag away. I wish there was a smaller bag, even more expensive per pound, so that I’m not being wasteful and making my kitty sick.

Easy Online Access To Feeding Instrutions.

FOR GOOODNESS SAKE. CAN YOU MAKE "FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS" TABS UNDER EACH PRODUCT. I have to go to an external cite to find this and this is VITAL information. For example, we use the wet cat food and it comes in boxes of 12 from the vet. I cannot find information on the cans. I need a quick reference. Thank you for your consideration.

Change in formula- constipation is back

My cat has been eating this food for over a year and it relieved all her GI issues, mainly constipation and hairballs. However, the change in the formula has resulted in all the issues returning. I will no longer purchase this food unless they revert back to the original formula.

So disapointed!

I was so relieved that this food helped ease my cats IBD symptoms. I was however extremely disapointed with the quick change in recipe with no notice and now my cats issues are back and I'm on the hunt for a different food.

Worth every penny!

Fiona was put on this for rectal bleeding after she tested negative for intestinal parasites and kept gaining weight. She is now the picture of health. She never gets sick, her coat is thick and healthy, her eyes are bright and clear. I am happy to feed RC GIMC dry food forever.
