Anxious cat vomits less

My cat has anxiety. I rescued her at seven months old from the cages at the shelter. Never had a mother since day three. I’ve had constant issues with her throwing up at any changes in the household. The vet did every test possible, and we had to finally decide, it’s just anxiety. (probiotics helped in the beginning for sure). If she only eats the calm cat food, she throws up a lot less. Instead of every day, only once a week. She throws up her balls twice a week, though, and this food says it helps with that. I can’t say it does, but neither does the Hairball paste or other remedies. (she can barely stand a human touch, so brushing hers, serious challenge). Oh, well, she’s in a much better place now that she lives with me!

Excellent Voice for Anxious Cats

Provides great mutation for a high anxiety cat. She stays at a healthy weight, her coat is very soft, and it helps ease her anxiety. We’ve used Calm for for years and it help tremendously with her anxiety.

Wonderful Option

My cats were adjusting to being adopted and into a new space quite well all things considered. I had a job change after 3.5 months and my work schedule was affected which in turn affected my cats. They were more stressed out, anxious and generally became less social. I had a vet appointment for both boys and mentioned to our vet about behavior changes I had noticed. She recommended trying the Calm dry for them and it has made a huge difference. We are all much more stable and routine is very helpful.

Kitty needs this for his anxiety

I heard this product was discontinued. I am in Winnipeg Canada. It’s the only thing that’s ever helped my cat with his anxiety he has separation anxiety and fear of loud noises. He did not function well on medication and this is all that helped. If it’s discontinued please bring it back. My kitty depends on it for his well being!

Helped our cat with Pandora Syndrome

We have a cat with Pandora Syndrome where he craves attention and love, but it triggers his anxiety. He also had serious food anxiety issues. We have cat calming pheromone diffusers all over the house and that helped some (he would literally go over to an infuser and "take a hit" if his anxiety got too bad. It took us over a decade from him only allowing us to see him at the top of the stairs while we were a full room apart to where we could pet him as long as we didn't look at him. But his anxiety was beginning to cause health issues and we began to worry that we would have to say goodbye to him before we were ready (he just turned 13 this month). Then we started feeding him Calm and he is a whole new cat in a matter of months. He is now a cat that will cuddle with us and sleeps soundly when we are in the room. He used to nap with one eye open in the living room, but would go to a difficult to access spot to sleep deeply. He is more playful and adjusted well when we added a young female cat to our household in August. And most important of all, his health issues have vanished now that his anxiety is under control.

Highly Recommend

I had my 4 cats on this for months due to behavioral issues after 1 had a dental and fighting ensued. This is a wonderful food that really overtime helped calm all 4 of my cats down. I did have to use gabapentin on 1 cat but this overall works great. It did take a few months for the uptake of all the nutrients which is where the meds came into play but those were slowly tapered off and we had no bullying....and I tried EVERYTHING!.

Made for a nicer kitty!

My vet sold me this food after bladder stone removal surgery for my cat. She has always been fairly aloof and independent. After being on this food, she was a much different cat. She was more friendly and happy and didn't seem nearly as stressed. I switched to just the regular S/O food and noticed a big difference. The Calm food made her much nicer and relaxed.

Effective

I've been using Royal Canin calm dry cat food for almost a year now and it's made a huge difference. My 5-year-old male cat was suffering from anxiety-related bladder infections that can be deadly. I switched to this food and haven't had a single incident. It also helps manage weight. Fantastic product.

Love it!

I have 2 cats that sometimes don't get along as well. One of them was soiling in one spot. After using calm for a month I noticed they coexist so much better now. Thank you royal canine for making this formula. Happy mom of 2 cats!
